NFOGM is the
forum for upstream metering and analysis of oil and gas.

Annually NFOGM arrange a technical conference (Temadag) where current metering and analysis challenges are addressed. NFOGM is the initiator of the North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop, which has established itself as the premier world venue for presentations and discussions of measurement technology related to the oil and gas industry. The society develops and publishes metering courses, handbooks and uncertainty calculations programs.

Summary Temadag and yearly meeting 2018

This year NFOGM Temadag took place on March 16 in Oslo. There were a total of 75 participants. Feedback from the participants via the evaluation form shows that most people were very pleased with the program and the distribution of presentations and breaks. Update – Fiscal Oil Metering Station Uncertainty Model

The uncertainty calculation program for fiscal oil metering has now been updated. Now you can calculate the measurement uncertainty for Coriolis and turbine flow meters in addition to ultrasonic flow meters. The handbook for the uncertainty model for oil has also been updated.
