The GFMW 2025 will be held from October 21st to 24th at the Quality Hotel Tønsberg in Tønsberg, Norway. This event is the perfect opportunity to engage with industry leaders and peers in a collaborative and informative setting. It brings together industry professionals, researchers, and experts to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in flow measurement.
Abstract Submission and Selection Process
We invite all professionals to submit their abstracts for review. Our Technical Committee, composed of industry experts, will evaluate all submissions. Priority will be given to papers presented by operators or those that include operational experiences. Practical content and field case studies are particularly valued to ensure the workshop reflects the current state of the industry and fosters innovation for the future.
Topics of Interest
The Technical Committee has identified several key topics of interest for the workshop, including:
- Field experience
- Metering concepts, including marginal fields, late phase, and virtual metering
- Subsea measurement challenges
- Custody transfer metering and allocation metering challenges
- Environmental measurements
- Multi-phase and wet gas measurement challenges
- Oil metering with high water content
- Heavy oil: single-phase and multi-phase metering
- Liquefied natural gas (LNG)
- Multi-phase and single-phase sampling and analysis
- On-line analysis, composition, H2S, H2O, CO2, H2, dew point, etc.
- Meter inline diagnostics, data evaluation, and accuracy
- Quality control, calibration, verification, and uncertainty
We also welcome abstracts that present new research results, standards, regulations, and other relevant industry topics.
