As we approach the end of the year, we at NFOGM would like to take a moment to reflect on our achievements and express our gratitude for your continued support.
In 2023, we successfully organised several key events, including the NFOGM Fagdag in Stavanger in March, the Hydrocarbon Management Workshop in Stavanger in June, and the Global Flow Measurement Workshop in Tønsberg in October. These events provided valuable opportunities for learning, networking, and collaboration within the flow measurement community.
We also continued to maintain and update our popular online courses and uncertainty calculation tools, which are available on our website, nfogm.no. We are proud to provide these resources to support professionals in the field.
Looking ahead, we recognise the increasing importance of measurement in both traditional oil and gas sectors and new energy carriers such as H2. Additionally, the measurement of CO2 for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is becoming more crucial than ever. As we navigate these evolving landscapes, we remain committed to advancing the field of flow measurement and contributing to a sustainable energy future.
Thank you to all our members for being a part of our journey this year. It is a pleasure to works with such an engaged and knowledge-seeking community. We look forward to continuing our work together in 2024.
Wishing you a peaceful holiday season and a prosperous New Year.
