During the NFOGM yearly meeting held March 18, 2021, a study of the future name of NFOGM was suggested (Protocol 2021, chapter 9) .
The annual meeting approved that the NFOGM Board can start a study and present any suggestions during the 2022 Annual meeting.
The chairman of the board emphasized that no concrete proposals for names had been made. It was commented that if the name of the association is changed, then the purpose of the association should also be looked at.
The NFOGM board would like to reach out to our members and asks for participants for a small workgroup to study the name of the association further. Please contact the NFOGM Chairman by October 1, 2021.
