The Fiscal Oil Metering Uncertainty Program has now been updated to include water in oil. The accompanying handbook Handbook of Uncertainty Calculations for Ultasonic, Turbine, and Coriolis Oil Flow Metering Stations has been updated accordingly.
Volumetric water fractions of up to 5 % are now covered and can be measured online or obtained through sampling and laboratory analysis.
The implemented models can be accessed free of charge from www.nfogm.no and the uncertainty program can be found here
The uncertainty models are implemented on the web application (OilMetApp) using HTML and WebAssembly. Note that files generated with the older version of the app may not be compatible with the updated version. Link to the previous version can be found under the historical section at the same site. The previous version will not be maintained in the future.
