Here are some welcoming words from the Chairman Kjell-Eivind Frøysa:

We are now in a time with a combination of energy shortage in Europe and climate change. This make the fluid flow of oil, natural gas, carbon dioxide, hydrogen and other fuels even more important than before. The industrial focus on flow measurements and metering systems for single phase oil and gas, wet gas, multiphase, including also sampling and analysis is strong. This applies for both traditional and new applications. This includes initiatives towards higher accuracy, more environmental focus, unmanned operations and online diagnostics and performance monitoring. In this world, flow measurement for high trust and relability is therefore crucial.

With history as the North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop, it has now become The Global Flow Measurement Workshop and is the world premium event on flow measurement of oil and gas and new energy sources for the future The conference is famous for the high quality presentations, exhibitions, great networking opportunities for informal meetings, discussions and small talks with regulators, colleagues, clients, suppliers and researchers across the industry. The workshop is an annual event that alternates between Norway and the UK.
