NORTH SEA FLOW MEASUREMENT WORKSHOP 2017

The North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop for 2017, held in Tønsberg Norway, had a total of 236 participants. The attendance was a good mix of vendors and operators, and participants from a total of 21 nations. About one-fourth of the participants attended the workshop for the first time.

The keynote was held by Espen Norheim from Ernst&Young; How to do sustainable business in a changing oil and gas market. The best paper was awarded Richard Steven and Terence Cousins from CEESI. Their talk Lies, damned lies, and statistics of flow meter linearization made for valuable discussions regarding the different approaches for linearization of flow meter measurements after a calibration.

The papers from the workshop are readily available for the attendees of the workshop. For all others, the papers will be made available in October 2018.

TEMADAG 2018

The Norwegian TEMADAG 2018 will be held 16 March in Oslo. The program for the day will be announced in the beginning of February.

HYDROCARBON MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP 2018

The biannual workshop on hydrocarbon management will be held 7 June, Scandic Stavanger Airport Hotel. The call for presentations is available on NFOGM webpages, and the committee expects papers on valuable experiences from the operators.
